EU amends EC Regulation 1881/2006 on limit values ​​for certain substances in food (09/06/2022)
On 4 August 2022, the European Commission issued Regulations (EU) 2022/1364 and 2022/1370 amending EC regulation 1881/2006 on maximum values ​​of hydrocyanic acid and Ochratoxin A in certain products certain products.

The regulation applies to many products such as flaxseeds, almonds, apricot kernels, cassava roots (fresh, peeled), tapioca flour, cereals, dried fruit, roasted coffee, instant coffee, spices flavors, dried herbs…

The above foods that were legally placed on the market before January 1, 2023 can still be marketed until their expiry date.
