1. Sabah EXPO (SIE)

Sabah International Expo EXPO (SIE) takes place from September 21 to September 24, 2023 in Kota Kinabalu city, Sabah state. This is a comprehensive international fair held in the easternmost state of Malaysia adjacent to Indonesia and close to the islands of the Philippines. SIE Fair is Sabah's flagship Trade Fair and the Sabah State Government jointly organizes the biennial event held in the beautiful City of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. This is a MATRADE endorsed event and is listed on the MATRADE website with reference number ME032(07/13)23. SIE2023 will be the 10th SIE since its inception. It is jointly organized by the Sabah State Government, Federation of Sabah Industries (FSI) and Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MICCI) Sabah Branch. SIE has become one of the largest and most successful trade events in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines – East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA).

The main objective of SIE is to provide a platform for exhibitors from near and far to meet; to establish business relationships; to introduce the latest products and services of BIMP-EAGA in particular and the entire ASEAN region. SIE2023 aims to attract trade and economic interests to Sabah. Sabah's abundant natural resources and proximity to regional economic powerhouses (China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Australia); and the strength of the customer market of nearly 70 million at BIMP-EAGA makes it an ideal and excellent commercial center in the Southeast Asia region.
