On December 14, 2017, the European Union Economic Commission for Europe (the Department for the Protection of the Domestic Market) issued a note 14-674 announcing the number of underwear (HS 6107, 6108, 6207, 6208, 6112) and children's clothing (HS 6111 20, 6111 30, 6111 90, 6209), imported from January to October 2017 into the Union territory, reaching 173,330 kg and 112,732 kg and surpassed The trigger levels for 2017 are set out in Annex 2 of the VN-EAEU FTA.
As committed in the EAEU FTA, upon reaching threshold triggering levels, the Union may apply threshold defenses to related goods for a period of approximately six months.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade informs the garment and textile exporters to the Union.
