High Point Market Exhibition Fair is the largest and most prestigious fair in the international furniture and interior and exterior decoration industry, held twice a year. The fair has an exhibition scale of up to 1,000,000 m2 spread across 180 buildings in Highpoint city, North Carolina, USA with more than 2,000 exhibitors, attracting nearly 75,000 visitors from more than 100 countries and territories. territories to visit and work.
Implementing the National Program on Trade Promotion in 2024 approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Department of Trade Promotion - Ministry of Industry and Trade will organize a Vietnamese business delegation to participate in the Wood Furniture Exhibition. High Point Market 2024 interior and exterior, expected as follows:
1. Objective:
The program aims to promote the image of countries, businesses, and Vietnamese brands; increase the export of wooden furniture and interior decoration products... of Vietnam with competitive strengths and development ability in the US market; promote the consumption network of wood products in this market.
2. Expected scale: 15-20 participating businesses with total display area at the Vietnam pavilion from 300 - 460 m2
3. Time: From October 26 - 30, 2024
4. Location: In High Point city, North Carolina, USA
5. Product industry: Wooden furniture, handicrafts and interior and exterior decoration products originating from Vietnam.
6. Participants: enterprises of all economic sectors established in accordance with Vietnamese law.
7. Criteria for selecting a business:
Enterprises with the capacity to produce and trade wood products, handicrafts and interior and exterior products with competitiveness, export capacity, products with appropriate designs, international certifications and quality For the US market, the personnel participating in the delegation must be professionally qualified to participate in international fairs (information declared in the application must be complete according to the attached form).
8. Cost:
a) State funding to support businesses participating in the program:
- 100% of booth costs;
- 100% of the overall decoration cost of Vietnam's booth at the Fair;
- 100% of the cost of propaganda and general promotion of the Vietnam pavilion.
b) Expenses paid by businesses themselves when participating in fairs:
- 100% of immigration, food, accommodation, travel expenses,...;
- 100% of costs related to goods such as: taxes, fees on goods when participating in the Fair, transportation costs...
- 100% of the business's propaganda and promotion costs and other business expenses.
- 100% of the cost of setting up a special booth of the business.
- Enterprises participating in the fair must deposit a deposit of 30,000,000 VND/enterprise immediately upon submitting the registration application.

In addition, businesses must bear other costs if they violate the rules and regulations of the Vietnam Organizing Committee.
9. Deposit fee refund method:
The organizer will refund the deposit cost to businesses after the fair ends and businesses have fully fulfilled their program participation obligations to the Organizing Committee.
In case businesses have been selected but cancel their participation in the Fair after July 5, 2024 for any reason, the deposit fee will not be refunded. This part of the cost will be used by the Organizing Committee to offset the costs the State has incurred to support businesses in renting premises, setting up booths, overall decoration and propaganda.
10. Obligations of businesses when participating in the program:
Complete the registration application to participate in the program, financial obligations and strictly implement the rules and regulations of the Fair Organizing Committee.
After the end of the Fair, within 15 days, businesses attending the Fair must send results reports (Form 05), application for deposit refund (according to form) to the Department of Trade Promotion (within 15 days). Businesses that do not submit results reports and deposit refund applications will not be selected to participate in the following Fairs)...
11. Requirements for registration documents to participate in the program: Business registration certificate (original copy, unit stamp);

Register to introduce information on the Fair Catalog (form 4 attached);

Note: When registering to participate, businesses must send an additional soft copy of their participation profile to the address: cuongpn@vietrade.gov.vn or hanghtt@vietrade.gov.vn and 06 photos including the business logo and photo. Photos of product sets participating in this fair (use high quality images, organizers will use to print catalogs and post promotional information).
12. Deadline to register to participate: before June 28, 2024
Due to the limited number of booths, the Trade Promotion Department will evaluate and select businesses to participate in the program and will officially notify you immediately after the list of participating businesses is approved by competent authorities.
