The exhibition is part of the Indian Government's Act East Programme, which aims to tap the potential of India's Northeast region as a strategic gateway to Southeast Asian countries. In addition to the 3-day Expo, there will be conferences and seminars with the participation of government officials, leaders and experts from countries in the region, roundtables, trade meetings, business meetings; bilateral meetings with countries in Southeast Asia and meetings with Indian States, Associations and International organizations.

The key areas of the exhibition include: Agriculture, Forestry; Processed Food; Information Technology (IT); Infrastructure; Tourism; Healthcare; Textiles and Handicrafts.

The 7th ACT East Business Show is a good opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to explore the market, find partners, and expand business activities in the Northeast region of India as well as ASEAN countries.
The organizers will support 02 nights of hotel accommodation in Shillong, Meghalaya state; arrange shuttle bus from Guwahati airport (Assam state) to Shillong and between the hotel and the event venue in Shillong and a welcome party organized by the Meghalaya state government.
