Implementing the National Trade Promotion Program in 2019 approved by the Minister of Industry and Trade in Decision No. 5106 / QD-BCT dated December 27, 2019, the Department of Trade Promotion (Department of Trade Promotion) will coordinate with the Department. The Asian-African market (Ministry of Industry and Trade) organized a survey, trade and participation delegation in Jakarta to promote the export of Vietnamese goods to Indonesia. As follows:

Indonesia is also the largest economy in Southeast Asia, accounting for 37% of ASEAN's GDP with a population of over 260 million people (ranked 4th in the world) and GDP per capita reaches about 3,642 USD / year. Therefore, Indonesia is considered a large and attractive market for goods of many countries around the world. With a large population, Indonesia is a fairly large consumer market with a diverse market segment, high import demand and a moderate level of quality requirements.
Indonesia is currently the fourth largest trading partner of Vietnam in ASEAN. Indonesia is an important export market for some groups of processed and manufactured products of Vietnam such as: phones and components; iron and Steel; machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts; computers, electronic products and components; textiles; leather shoes; plastics ... Regarding imports, Indonesia provides Vietnam with many commodities: coal; common metal; machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts; chemistry; animal feed and materials; Plastic materials; raw cashew nuts; Aquatic products ... In terms of market size and large and diverse demand, the Indonesian market is considered to have a lot of potential to boost exports and expand market share. for Vietnamese enterprises' goods, helping Vietnamese enterprises diversify export markets, reducing dependence on big markets.
However, in recent years, the growth rate of Vietnam's export turnover to Indonesia has only remained at an average level, about 7.2% per year. This shows that in recent years, Vietnam has not fully utilized its great commercial potential between the two countries. Some Vietnamese products may focus on boosting exports to Indonesia in the coming time: (i) steel and iron and steel products, (ii) wire and electric cables. , (iii) interior decoration products, (iv) electrical machinery (water pumps, transformers, generators, water heaters, lighting equipment products), (v) machines agricultural machinery, (vi) textiles, footwear and fashion accessories, (vii) phone components, (viii) electrical products, consumer electronics, (ix) drinks and food processing, (x) household products (plastic, kitchenware, furniture, chinaware), (xi) agricultural products (coffee, tea, dragon fruit, cloth ...). In terms of imports, it is possible to increase imports from Indonesia with inputs for production in Vietnam, which Indonesia has advantages such as: (i) water raw materials, (ii) raw cashew nuts, (iii) fibers, yarns, (iv) textile and garment materials, (v) animal feed and materials, (vi) chemicals, (vii) substances plastic materials, (viii) common metal, (ix) thermal coal ...

Objectives: (i) market research and survey; (ii) organize business seminars, meet business contacts, find and connect Vietnamese businesses with import partners, distributors, joint venture partners, associates and investment partners in the field. trade and industry; (iii) promoting and introducing Vietnamese product images to Indonesian consumers and businesses to promote the export of Vietnamese goods to Indonesia.

6. Participants: Enterprises of all economic sectors, cooperatives, trade promotion organizations of Vietnam are established in accordance with the current law, wishing to explore market. school, business dealings with Indonesia.
7. Criteria for selecting participating units: enterprises with production and business capability of goods with competitiveness, export capability, products with designs and quality suitable to the printing market. Indonesia, with good business results in the last 2 years, personnel participating in the delegation have enough professional skills and foreign language skills to attend seminars and trade with international customers. .
8. Cost:
- State support for enterprises participating in the program: Enterprises selected to participate in the program will be supported by the State 01 round-trip ticket from Vietnam to Jakarta, Indonesia. -xi-a (01 ticket / 01 business), the cost of renting a common booth for the Vietnamese delegation at the Fair and the cost of organizing a Vietnam - Indonesia Trade Conference.
- Business costs incurred when participating in the program: hotel money; eating money; car travel; tickets to attend fairs and exhibitions (if any) ... during working time in Indonesia.
- Amount of money that businesses have to deposit to join the program: 20 million VND / person. The deposit requested to be deposited into the account of the Trade Promotion Department is as follows:

- Method of payment and settlement with enterprises.
+ For enterprises that have fulfilled their obligations on registration procedures but have not been selected to participate in the program: The Trade Promotion Department will refund 100% of the deposit to businesses;
+ For enterprises that have fulfilled their obligations on registration procedures and have been selected to participate in the program: The Trade Promotion Department will refund the deposit within 15 days after the Treasury approves the program settlement and receives records submitted by the Asian - African Market Department.
9. Obligations when participating in the program:
- Complete the application file for participation in the program, financial obligations and strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the Organizing Committee.
- In case of being selected to participate in the program, enterprises strictly abide by the instructions of the Organization Board. Enterprises selected to participate in the program but then withdraw from the program must take responsibility for the costs incurred that affect the program.
- After finishing the mission, within 15 days, businesses participating in the delegation must send a report of results (form) to the Department of Trade Promotion and the Asia - Africa Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade).
10. Request for Application for participation in the program:
- Business registration certificate (original copy, unit stamp).
- Application for participation in the Program (attached form).
- Decision on appointing personnel to join the program of the enterprise.
- Copy of passport (page with photo and personal information) of the participant expected to join the program (note, passport is valid for at least 06 months).
- Rent deposit for participating in the program: 20 million VND / person.
