This week will contribute to promoting trade cooperation with this traditional market in the new context on the existing foundation and positive impacts of the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union, along with the sea route to transport containers of goods directly from Cat Lai port,  Hai Phong port to Vladivostok port with transport time of 7-9 days.

Implementing the Project "Promoting Vietnamese enterprises to directly participate in foreign distribution networks by 2023" approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 1415/QD-TTg dated November 14, 2022 , the Consulate General of Vietnam in Vladivostok city and the Vietnam Trade Office Branch in Vladivostok city, in collaboration with relevant domestic and local agencies, will organize the Week with the desire to create opportunities for businesses introduce, promote and introduce products to local importers and consumers, step by step directly participate in the supply chain in the Far East in particular and the Russian Federation in general.

The target size of the Annual Week 2023 includes:

- Introduce products to about 15 businesses directly at 02 largest supermarket chains in the Far East, Russia, Remi and Samberi;

- Sector: Prioritize food and consumer goods;

- Time: From August 16 - 21, 2023.
