World Food India (WFI) is a flagship event organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) of India, to promote investment, connect businesses, share technology, and expand cooperation in the food and food processing value chain. The annual World Food India Expo attracts a large number of Indian and international partners to attend and trade. The recent World Food India 2024 was a resounding success with the participation of 6 international ministerial delegations, 10 foreign official delegations, 20 national pavilions and 2,390 international delegates; 809 international buyers, 1,557 exhibitors and over 18,000 business-to-buyer connections; Over 100 CEOs of major domestic and international corporations along with representatives from universities, government agencies and domestic enterprises; In particular, the Global Food Safety Regulatory Authorities Summit (GFRS 2024) will also be held within the framework of the event.

At the 2025 fair, the Indian Ministry of Food Processing Industries will continue to invite Vietnam to participate as a Partner Country and encourage Vietnamese enterprises in the food sector to have booths to promote and introduce products, goods, services and technologies in the food processing sector and related fields. The Organizing Committee will have preferential policies and discounts on booths for enterprises of partner countries when renting with appropriate areas.

To further promote the results of the trade connection program with the Indian business delegation, the Indian Trade Office plans to organize the Vietnam Pavilion, support Vietnamese businesses participating in the Pavilion to connect businesses, support activities to promote industrial, trade and service investment in localities in Vietnam, and support market research activities.

The Vietnam Trade Office in India respectfully invites industry associations, local trade and investment promotion centers and the Vietnamese business community to consider organizing business delegations to attend WFI 2025. This is a good opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to promote their products and brands to global partners; connect with importers, distributors, and investors in and outside India; update technology trends and international standards in the food industry.
