ndia is one of the world's largest consumer markets, with a population of over 1.45 billion people and a rapidly growing middle class. The demand for high-quality food in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai is growing. The Indian processed food market is growing rapidly with an average growth rate of over 10% per year and is forecast to reach a value of over 600 billion USD by 2026.
The demand for imported agricultural raw materials, processed foods, spices, coffee, cashew nuts, canned fruits, frozen seafood, organic products, etc. of Indian enterprises has also increased significantly to serve the retail, hotel - restaurant and domestic consumption sectors.
For Vietnamese enterprises, this is a potential market with much room for development, especially for Vietnam's strategic export products. Participating in specialized fairs such as World Food India, building a distribution network in major cities and finding local import partners will be important strategies to connect and expand the market.
In order to strengthen connections and promote trade and investment cooperation between Vietnamese and Indian enterprises, the Vietnam Trade Office in India plans to organize a webinar with the theme: "Strengthening Vietnam - India trade relations through international fairs and exhibitions".
We would like to respectfully invite industry associations, trade promotion centers, business communities and interested individuals to attend the seminar according to the following schedule:
