Taking place over 14 days, the fair is divided into two phases: from 14 to 18 November will be dedicated to businesses with B2B sessions, while from 19 to 27 November it will be open to the public, businesses and visitors (B2C).
IITF is the largest integrated trade fair in South Asia, attracting the participation of businesses in all fields. This is not only a business event, but also has a strong social, cultural, and educational significance, creating opportunities for exchanges and connections between businesses, NGOs, and social activists. The 2023 fair featured more than 3,500 exhibitors on an area of ​​115,000 square meters, attracting a sharp increase in visitors, especially in the last three days with more than 100,000 visitors per day, peaking at 150,000 on Sunday.

IITF is not only a place to connect B2B transactions but also an ideal destination for businesses to introduce products to Indian consumers. With the participation of 28 Indian states and territories, along with 46 ministries, departments and agencies, this event has created a "miniature India", providing a comprehensive view of the country's culture, economy and society. The fair also attracted the participation of 13 countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Oman, Egypt, Nepal, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, Tunisia, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Iran and the UAE.

In 2023, the Vietnam Trade Office in India, together with the national trade promotion delegation chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, coordinated with nearly 20 Vietnamese enterprises in the fields of processed food, agricultural products, handicrafts, machinery and equipment, and household goods to participate in the fair. Vietnamese products such as agricultural products, seafood, handicrafts, garments, footwear, instant coffee, cinnamon, spices, etc. have received great attention from Indian enterprises. In fact, the results over the years show that the IITF 2024 fair is a good opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to promote their products, find partners and expand the market in India.
