Implement the 2024 plan, to support localities, industrial parks and businesses to promote promotion to attract investment from Korea, on the occasion of the Vietnamese Cultural Festival in Korea and the Vietnam Festival Pho Festival 2024 in Seoul (Korea), Ministry of Industry and Trade (focal point is the Department of Trade Promotion) in coordination with the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (focal point is KOTRA), Embassy, Trade Office Vietnam in Korea and Tuoi Tre Newspaper organized an Investment and Trade Promotion Delegation in Korea. Specific information about the Delegation program is as follows:
1. Time and location
- Time (expected): From September 5 to September 11, 2024 (all day departure and return);
- Location: Seoul and Gyeonggi, Korea.
2. Objectives
- Introducing information about the investment and business environment of Vietnamese localities, industrial parks and businesses to Korean businesses and investors at the Vietnam - Korea Investment - Trade Cooperation Conference ;
- Connecting trade between Vietnamese localities, industrial parks and businesses with Korean businesses and investors at direct trade sessions;
- Promote investment environment information, potential local products, businesses and trade connections at the Vietnam Cultural Festival in Korea and Vietnam Pho Festival 2024 in Seoul;
- Exchange information, grasp the investment, business cooperation and trade needs of Korean enterprises for the Vietnamese market.
3. Scale (expected): from 2 to 4 localities, 5 to 10 industrial parks, industrial clusters and Vietnamese enterprises.
4. Participants: representatives of ministries, branches, local authorities, industrial parks, industrial clusters and businesses.
5. Main activities
- Vietnam - Korea Investment - Trade Cooperation trade conference at KOTRA headquarters scheduled for September 10, 2024;
- Working with the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea;
- Working with the Gyeonggi Provincial Government and meeting a number of investment partners and Gyeonggi Provincial business associations;
- Working with the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA);
- Working with the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and meeting a number of Korean investment partners at KCCI Headquarters;
- Attend the Vietnamese Cultural Festival in Korea and the Vietnamese Pho Festival 2024 in Seoul scheduled for September 7, 2024.

6. Cost
- Expenses for attending conferences and meeting partners and businesses in Korea are sponsored by the Organizing Committee;
- Other costs such as air tickets, meals, accommodation, transportation, and business interpretation, separate work programs (if any) are responsible for the unit sending the representative.
7. Requirements for registration documents to participate in the program
- Application to participate in the Program (according to the Organizing Committee's form);
- Decision to send personnel to participate in the Program (02 originals);
- Soft copy of profile introducing localities and units in Vietnamese and Korean (according to the Organizing Committee's form);
- Business registration certificate (copy of the original with the unit's seal).
