In order to support Vietnamese agencies, organizations and businesses to update information on green export development, grasp and clearly understand new EU laws and regulations such as CBAM and EUDR to have plans, Measures and roadmap to adjust export production activities, maintain and develop appropriate and effective export markets in the new context, the Department of Trade Promotion (Ministry of Industry and Trade) coordinates with relevant agencies. Relevant agencies organize the following programs:

1. Program name: Training program, capacity building for green export development.

2. Time: From 8:00 - 11:30 and 13:30 - 17:00 Friday, August 16, 2024.

3. Location: Hoa Binh Hotel, 27 Ly Thuong Kiet, Phan Chu Trinh Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

4. Program scale: About 70-80 delegates from agencies, organizations, and enterprises.

5. Organizing unit: Department of Trade Promotion.

6. Program content, including:
- Overview of the Border Carbon Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) Act.

- Overview of regulations to reduce deforestation and forest degradation (EUDR).
- Issues that Vietnamese exporting enterprises need to pay attention to in order to comply with CBAM and EUDR.

- Sharing experiences in implementing CBAM/EUDR.
