Invite businesses to participate in the Seoul Food International Food Exhibition 2025. (03/14/2025)
Seoul Food 2025 International Food Exhibition, hosted by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), is held annually at the Korea International Exhibition Center and is one of the leading food exhibitions in Asia. With a total area of ​​76,121m2, each exhibition attracts more than 1,600 exhibiting enterprises with nearly 3,000 booths, welcoming more than 53,000 international visitors from 70 countries/territories around the world to visit and work at the Exhibition. This is a good opportunity for Vietnamese food and beverage enterprises to strengthen trade promotion activities, effectively access the potential market of Korea and other countries in the world. In 2025, the Trade Promotion Agency - Ministry of Industry and Trade will organize a delegation of Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the Exhibition within the National Program on Trade Promotion in 2025, with specific contents as follows:

1. Objective: Promote the national image, the image of Vietnamese enterprises and brands; Increase the export of Vietnamese agricultural and food products with strengths and the ability to develop export markets in Korea; Promote the consumption network of agricultural and food products in the Korean market.

2. Scale: 180m2 of exhibition area.

3. Time: from June 10 to 13, 2025.

4. Location: at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), Korea.

5. Industry: vegetables, tubers, fruits (canned, frozen, fruit juice), food ingredients (priority given to products such as pepper, cashew, coconut, rice and rice products), coffee.

6. Participants: Vietnamese enterprises in the above industries established in accordance with current laws.

7. Criteria for selecting enterprises: Enterprises registering to participate will be evaluated and selected by the Organizing Committee based on the following criteria: (1) Information declared in the registration dossier is complete according to the attached forms; (2) The enterprise's export capacity and potential for the Korean and world markets; (3) Capacity to prepare for participation in the Exhibition (displayed products, booth decoration, suitable personnel, experience in participating in similar international fairs and exhibitions); (4) International food safety and hygiene certificates of the enterprise; (5) Results and evaluation by the Organizing Committee of the enterprise's participation in previous Exhibitions organized by the Department of Trade Promotion. In addition, the Organizing Committee will take into account the balance between participating industries (number of enterprises in each industry).
8. Participation costs
a. State support: 100% of booth costs; 100% of the total decoration costs of the exhibition area of ​​Vietnamese enterprises at the Exhibition.
b. Costs that enterprises must bear when participating in the program:
- 100% of the costs of entry and exit, food, accommodation, travel, etc.;
- 100% of the costs related to goods such as: taxes on goods when participating in the Exhibition, shipping costs, etc.;
- Estimated cost of organization services is 6,000,000 VND/booth (including VAT). The above costs will be specifically announced after the Decision to establish a delegation of Vietnamese enterprises participating in the Exhibition is issued.
9. Obligations of enterprises when participating in the program:
- Complete the registration form to participate in the program, financial obligations and strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the Organizing Committee of the Delegation.
- After the end of the Exhibition, within 15 days, enterprises participating in the Exhibition must send a report of the results to the Department of Trade Promotion.
10. Requirements for application documents to participate in the program:
(1) Certificate of business registration (certified copy, stamped by the unit, business registration still in operation for > 3 years);
(2) Application form (attached form 1);
(3) List of personnel (attached form 2);
(4) Registration to introduce information on the Exhibition Catalogue (attached form 3);
(5) Food safety quality certificates that the enterprise has achieved (still valid).
(6) Certificate of ownership and establishment of the enterprise's factory;
(7) Other documents to prove the enterprise's export capacity and experience to the Korean and international markets such as: Export declaration, Bill of lading (B/L) of exported goods in the last 03 (three) years, certificate of the enterprise achieving National Brand, Prestigious Export Enterprise;
Note: When registering to participate, businesses must send an additional soft copy of the Participation Profile to the address: seoulfood.vietrade@gmail.com (including product photos to be posted on the Exhibition's catalogue). Registration documents that lack one of the above documents will be disqualified.
11. Deadline for registration: before March 31, 2025 (according to the postmark). Due to the limited number of booths, not enough for all registered units, the Department of Trade Promotion will officially notify businesses as soon as the list of participating businesses is approved by the competent authority.
