1. Objectives
- Promote the brand, capacity and image of the locality, enterprises of the Southeast Region and enterprises outside the Region but trading in products of the Southeast Region with the Italian and Swiss markets.
- Promote trade promotion activities with the Italian and Swiss markets through organizing business and investment connection programs, combining meetings, working directly and building sustainable relationships with agencies, organizations of potential import-export and investment partners in Italy and Switzerland.
- Help enterprises exploit the potential of the Italian and Swiss markets to increase export turnover, and at the same time seek sources of raw materials, machinery and equipment for the production of export goods of the Southeast Region, Vietnam; gradually reduce exports through intermediaries to increase profits for enterprises.
- Through the program, localities in the Southeast region, businesses trading products in the Southeast region, Vietnam can grasp and update the latest information about the Italian and Swiss markets; helping businesses develop effective import-export business strategies with these markets.
2. Scale and participants
- About 25-30 representatives of Vietnamese manufacturing and exporting enterprises with operating and business establishments in the Southeast region or trading products of the Southeast region.
- Representatives of other agencies and organizations interested in promoting trade and investment with the Italian and Swiss markets.
3. Expected time: From June 15 to 25, 2025.
4. Location: In Milan, Bologna or 01 other locality (Italy), Bern, Zurich (Switzerland).
5. Industry: Multi-industry, prioritizing industries (supporting industries, mechanics, railways, industrial machinery and equipment, vehicles, etc.), new technology, green transformation, etc.
6. Participants: Enterprises of all economic sectors; business and investment support organizations (Trade Promotion Center, Industry Association); industrial parks, export processing zones, representatives of ministries, branches, and localities.
7. Criteria for selecting participating enterprises
- Enterprises with production and export business capacity to Italy and Switzerland, with the purpose and prospect of developing the Italian and Swiss markets in the above-mentioned target industries of the Program.
- Personnel sent by enterprises to participate in the Delegation must be capable of international trade transactions with potential partners in Italy and Switzerland.
- Enterprises submit their application within the prescribed deadline.
8. Costs
a. State support: Each enterprise, Trade Promotion Center, and Industry Association selected to participate in the program will be supported by the State with 01 or part of the airfare for the route Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City - Milan; Zurich - Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City for 01 representative of the unit and the cost of organizing trade programs in Italy and Switzerland according to the provisions of Circular No. 11/2019/TT-BCT dated July 30, 2019 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade guiding the implementation of trade promotion activities to develop foreign trade under the National Trade Promotion Program. Other costs will be paid by the unit itself.

b. Units not eligible for State cost support: Self-pay the cost of participating in the program.

9. Obligations of enterprises when participating in the program
- Complete the registration form to participate in the program, strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the Organizing Committee of the Delegation.

- After the end of the Delegation, within 15 days, the participating enterprises must send the result report (according to the form), passport page 1 and the page with entry and exit stamps in Italy and Switzerland (photocopy), boarding passes in Vietnam, Italy and Switzerland to the Department of Trade Promotion.
- Agencies and enterprises are fully responsible for sending people to participate in the Delegation and ensuring compliance with the laws of Vietnam, Italy and Switzerland.
10. Requirements for registration documents to participate in the program
- Business registration certificate (certified copy, stamped by the unit).
- Application form to participate in the Delegation (attached form 1).
- Registration form of the list of personnel participating in the Delegation (attached form 2).
