In order to further promote economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and China, and continue to exploit and fully develop the potential and needs of both sides, the Trade Promotion Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, in coordination with the Chongqing Trade Commission, China and the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, organized a delegation of Chinese enterprises to enter Vietnam for trade transactions and trade connections at the Vietnam - China (Chongqing) Business Connection Conference in 2025:

The conference was attended by nearly 20 typical enterprises from Chongqing (China), operating in multiple sectors in key areas such as:
Food and food industry
Machinery and equipment, mechanics - electricity
Investment, finance - banking
And other related industries.
In 2023, in order to implement the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding on enhancing economic, trade and investment cooperation in the industry and trade sector between the Trade Promotion Agency - Ministry of Industry and Trade (Vietnam) and the Chongqing Municipal Trade Commission (China), the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam) successfully organized the "Vietnam - China (Chongqing) Trade Promotion, Investment and Trade Connection Conference", attracting the attention and participation of 200 representatives of trade promotion organizations, industry associations, Vietnamese enterprises, Chongqing enterprises and media units. With careful preparation and close coordination between the Trade Promotion Agency and Chongqing CCPIT, more than 80 Vietnamese and Chongqing (China) enterprises in the fields of: Agricultural products, food, machinery and equipment, information technology, aquaculture, logistics, etc. have been directly connected.

It is hoped that the Vietnam - China (Chongqing) Business Connection Conference in 2025 will not only be an important bridge to help businesses of the two countries expand their markets, but also a driving force to promote bilateral economic and trade relations to develop more sustainably, balanced and effectively in the future. In addition, the Conference is an opportunity to open up new opportunities, continue to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese and Chinese (Chongqing) enterprises to further strengthen connection, exchange and cooperation activities in the field of trade, actively contributing to promoting stable and balanced economic and trade relations between Vietnam and China, continuing to be a bright spot in bilateral relations.
