The fair is expected to attract more than 35,000 visitors from over 140 countries with the participation of more than 2,000 exhibitors on a total exhibition area of ​​about 100,000 m2.
IATF is a platform to promote trade and investment in Africa with the aim of exploiting opportunities from the common market of the Continental Free Trade Area - AfCFTA (over 1.4 billion people and GDP over 3.5 trillion USD). The fair is organized by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC) and the AfCFTA Secretariat every 2 years. In the last three IATFs, more than 100 billion USD in trade and investment agreements have been signed with more than 70,000 visitors and more than 4,500 exhibitors.
IATF2025 is a week-long exhibition of national and business trade with activities such as:
Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) with exhibitions and symposia on fashion, music, film, arts and crafts, sports, literature, food and culinary arts;
A four-day Trade and Investment Forum with leading African and international speakers;
Africa Automotive Expo for car manufacturers, assemblers, original equipment manufacturers and component suppliers.
Business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) forums for business networking and exchange;
AU Youth Start-Up Program showcasing innovative ideas and prototypes;
Africa Research and Innovation Hub @IATF targeting university students, academics and national researchers to exhibit their research initiatives and projects;
The African Network of Governments (AfSNET) aims to promote trade, investment, education and cultural exchange at the local level.
