The 54th International Algiers Fair (FIA 54), the largest annual trade event in Algeria, will take place from June 19 to 24, 2023 at the Pins Maritimes Exhibition and Convention Palace, Alger capital (Algeria). ). The fair has a display area of 30,000 m2 and 500 participating agencies and enterprises, half of which are foreign companies.
In 2022, the 53rd Algiers International Fair was held from June 13-17, 2022. With the slogan "Strategic Partner", the event attracted the participation of 698 businesses, including 187 foreign companies from 20 countries around the world. On this occasion, the Trade Office, the Embassy and Vietnamese enterprises in Algeria organized a booth to introduce Vietnamese products.
FIA 2023 is a multi-industry international fair covering the fields of agriculture, food industry, chemical industry, petrochemical industry, electrical industry, mechanical industry, electronics industry, construction, industry public facilities and services. Participating Vietnamese enterprises can introduce the following types of products: Agricultural products, food; Seafood; footwear, textiles; wooden furniture, plastic products; computers, phones and accessories, electrical and electronic appliances; construction materials, machinery and equipment; handicrafts, etc.
According to data from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, in the first three months of 2023, our country's export turnover to Algeria reached 63.35 million USD, up 104.7% over the same period last year. The Vietnam Trade Office in Algeria will rent a 9m2 booth to display catalogs and samples of Vietnamese enterprises. Domestic businesses wishing to participate directly will be supported by the Trade Office in applying for visas, arranging booths to introduce products at the fair and contacting local customers.
