Vegetarianism is one of the eating habits that have existed for thousands of years in Chinese culture. A simple, clean way of eating, with the increasing world awareness of "health" and "sustainability", the concept of variety of plant-based foods has gradually developed into a style. Since 2005, under the support of the Taiwanese Government, the Festival has been widely held in the spirit of "vegetarianism, environmental protection and earth love", combined with "production, education" and religion", in order to promote environmentally friendly vegetable food and promote the ecologically sound development of the plant food industry.

Based on the achievements of the previous festivals, with the spirit of sustainable protection of the environment and the protection of everyone's heart, this year's Festival Organizing Committee continues to gather a large number of Taiwanese businesses and enterprises in the world. International industry focused on exhibiting at 600 exhibition booths within the framework of the Festival.

Also within the framework of the Festival, vegan cultural experiences, marketing, communication and advertising events are interwoven to help promote the vegetarian food industry to all consumers. used in all social classes. At the same time, the Festival will also contribute to the response to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, promoting a fresh and dynamic "Vegetarian Lifestyle".
