The project has assessed the situation of commodity exports of the province in the period of 2016 - 2020 including scale of growth rate, comparative advantage, ratio of export turnover/GRDP, structure of export participants, restructuring of commodity groups, market structure, number of enterprises, transport infrastructure and warehousing infrastructure for import and export. The Department of Industry and Trade proposes 5 export orientations and views and advises the Provincial People's Committee to direct 6 solutions to boost the province's export of goods in the period of 2021 - 2025, with orientation to 2030, including: developing commodity sources. , seeking to expand export markets, improving the competitiveness of goods and businesses, developing human resources, developing policies for infrastructure and logistics services, building information and communication systems.

The delegates discussed clarifying the advantages and prospects of exporting goods in the coming time when countries open their markets through new free trade agreements; give some suggestions on the objectives of the project, orientation of the province's main import and export products and solutions to promote export growth...

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the quality of the project and emphasized, promoting export of goods is an urgent requirement to promote economic and social development of the province. The Department of Industry and Trade needs to closely coordinate with other departments and branches to agree to supplement some contents of the project and implement it, such as: trade promotion, implementation of free trade agreements; identify priority commodity groups to take measures to support and remove difficulties for exporting enterprises; align this project with development projects and plans of other departments and branches; e-commerce development.

In addition to attracting investment, focusing on improving the competitiveness of enterprises, striving to achieve the target by 2025, the total export turnover of goods in the province will reach 2,750.9 million USD, equivalent to the growth rate. average growth rate of 10.5% in the period 2021 - 2025 and export turnover rate of over 50%/GRDP, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress. Having a development strategy to help industries, localities and enterprises in the province accelerate exports to concretize the province's socio-economic development plan in the direction of industrialization and modernization. During the implementation of the project, there must be a preliminary review, summary, and timely removal of obstacles and inadequacies to create favorable conditions for export activities of enterprises.
