The Norwegian Food Safety Authority will prioritize the control of wooden packaging accompanying goods from China, Portugal, the US, Korea, Japan and Italy. Special attention is paid to the following groups of imported products: stone (paving stone, curbstone, paving slabs, construction stone, facing brick, steel wire/pipe/nail, mechanical equipment, hand tools, tractors and motor vehicle parts). The Norwegian Food Safety Authority will prioritize controls from these countries, but that doesn't mean they won't check from other countries. Therefore, businesses exporting goods to Norway that are using wooden packaging should pay attention to comply with regulations. Source: Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden
