IMDEC 2024 will be held concurrently with the 28th meeting of the Global Harmonization Working Group (GHWP), which comprises 34 national medical device regulatory bodies from around the world. The event is expected to attract around 600 international delegates and 10,000 buyers and trade visitors, including 200 exhibitors from 16 countries including Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, France, Germany, Singapore and the United States.

With the theme “Unlocking the Power of Medical Technology: Shaping the Future of Healthcare,” IMDEC 2024 aims to be the premier gathering place for medical technology experts, researchers and leaders, and support Malaysia’s development as a medical technology hub in line with the New Industry Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030).
