The Seoul International Food Exhibition 2022 (Seoul Food 2022) hosted by the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) is held annually at the Korea International Exhibition Center and is one of the largest exhibitions in the world. Asia's leading famous food industry exhibition.

With a total area of ​​​​76,121m2, each exhibition attracts about 1,000 exhibitors with nearly 2,500 booths, welcomes more than 50,000 international visitors from many countries around the world to visit and work. work at the Exhibition. This is a good opportunity to help Vietnamese food and beverage businesses strengthen trade promotion activities, effectively accessing the potential Korean market and other markets in the world.

As part of the National Program on Trade Promotion in 2022, the Trade Promotion Agency - Ministry of Industry and Trade will organize a delegation of Vietnamese businesses to participate in the 2022 Seoul International Exhibition.

Industries participating in the exhibition
The objective of the activity is to promote the national image, corporate image and Vietnamese brand; Increasing the export of agricultural products and foodstuffs of Vietnam, which have strengths and the ability to develop export markets in Korea; Promote the consumption network of agricultural products and food in the Korean market.

Venue: at Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), Korea

Categories: Processed foods, vegetables, tubers, fruits (canned, frozen, fruit juice), pepper, cashew, coconut, honey, rice and seafood (frozen).

Criteria for selecting participating businesses
Enterprises of all economic sectors are established in accordance with current laws. Enterprises registered to participate will be selected by the Organizing Committee based on the following criteria: (1) The information declared in the registration dossier is complete according to the attached forms; (2) The export capacity and potential of the enterprise to the Korean and international markets; (3) Ability to prepare to participate in Exhibitions (products on display, booth decoration, suitable personnel, experience in attending similar international fairs and exhibitions); (4) International certificates of quality, food hygiene and safety of the enterprise; (5) Report on the results of the enterprise's participation in previous fairs. In addition, the Organizing Committee will take into account the balance between the participating industries (the number of businesses in each category).

Participating in the Program, businesses are supported 100% of booth costs; 100% of the overall decoration cost of the exhibition area of ​​Vietnamese enterprises at the Exhibition.

The rest, businesses have to pay the expenses when participating in the program, including: 100% of the costs of entry and exit, meals, accommodation, travel, Covid-19 testing before entry...; 100% of costs related to goods such as: taxes on goods when participating in the Exhibition, shipping costs...; Expenses for propaganda and promotion, inviting guests to visit and transact at the Exhibition and organizing and serving services for the Union is 5,500,000 VND/room (VAT included).

Deadline for registration: before March 31, 2022. Due to the limited number of booths, not enough for all registered units, the Trade Promotion Department will officially notify you as soon as the list of participating businesses is approved by the competent authority. .
