Digital transformation solution consulting program for businesses - The key to help businesses accelerate on the international race track (10/25/2024)

Deeply aware of the importance of digital transformation for enterprises, as an advisory agency for synthesizing policies for socio-economic development, and at the same time being the focal agency implementing support for digital transformation enterprises according to the Law on Supporting Small and Medium Enterprises, the Department of Enterprise Development, Ministry of Planning and Investment has coordinated with ministries, branches, localities, and associations to proactively implement policies on supporting digital transformation enterprises. In particular, the Program to support digital transformation enterprises for the period 2021-2025 chaired by the Department of Enterprise Development with activities to support digital transformation enterprises has achieved the following results: popularizing and training to raise awareness and knowledge of digital transformation in 63 provinces and cities for nearly 14,000 enterprises; consulting nearly 400 enterprises, with 25,000 expert hours to build and implement a digital transformation roadmap for enterprises; Digitize and post tools, documents, training videos and publish digital transformation support packages on the Enterprise Digital Transformation Portal for widespread dissemination to businesses.

To continue the achievements in supporting digital transformation enterprises, the Ministry of Planning and Investment (the focal point is the Department of Enterprise Development) has implemented the support package "Consulting on digital transformation solutions for SMEs" according to Decision No. 777/QD-PTDN to promote consulting and implementing the digital transformation roadmap for enterprises to help change their models and production and business methods, and improve product quality. Within the framework of the support package, enterprises will receive special benefits and opportunities such as access to in-depth consulting solutions on advanced technology and leading experts towards the goal of successful digital transformation; helping enterprises optimize operational performance through a 5-step consulting roadmap, from surveying, building solutions to consulting and implementation.

 

Program Support Content
Specifically, the program will select 26 SMEs in the fields of Agriculture and food processing; Industrial production, manufacturing and processing to support 50% of the value of the digital transformation solution consulting contract worth VND 100 million for medium-sized enterprises, VND 50 million for small enterprises. Moreover, businesses will receive specific consulting support on solutions to optimize the management system with standardized processes, forms and workflows, ready for digital transformation; improve capacity and equip skills for human resources; thereby enhancing competitive advantage, accelerating the digitalization process, creating a breakthrough for the sustainable development of the business. Participating in the program, businesses will also enjoy preferential policies from technology partners providing digital transformation solutions. In particular, this will be a valuable opportunity for businesses to expand their network through participating in activities of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, opportunities to cooperate, learn and share with other businesses. On the business side, businesses registering to participate in the program need to contribute a portion of the cost (50% of the consulting contract value), and at the same time commit to ensuring the full participation of their staff to deploy and implement effective digital transformation.

The program will be organized with the following specific information:
1, Registration deadline: October 30, 2024
2, Enterprises will be consulted on digital transformation in the following content:
· Production process management
· Logistics and supply chain management
· Human resource information management, human resource processes and payroll
· Planning and financial management
· Business process management and customer care
3, Enterprises registering to participate must fully meet the following conditions: Being a small and medium-sized enterprise in Vietnam with a business registration certificate in Vietnam; the number of employees (with social insurance) is under 200 people OR Total revenue in 2023: under 200 billion VND OR Total capital in 2023: under 100 billion VND.
4, The program will be implemented in the following specific steps:
- Step 1: Enterprises register to participate
- Step 2: Select enterprises that meet the criteria, sign consulting contracts and commit to enterprises
- Step 3: Survey and evaluate the current status of enterprises
- Step 4: Organize a series of consulting activities
- Step 5: Evaluate the effectiveness and summarize the program
5-Step Digital Transformation Consulting Roadmap
For each eligible enterprise, the program has planned a digital transformation consulting roadmap consisting of 5 specific steps. First, the program will support the development of an implementation plan with the aim of designing a plan suitable to the characteristics of the enterprise. In step two, the program will survey the current status of the enterprise to provide a detailed analysis report of the current governance status of the enterprise and identify areas that need improvement. The next step - "Building a digital transformation solution" plays an extremely important role in the consulting process because this is the stage of proposing optimal solutions based on the specific needs of the business to be able to come up with a suitable and effective digital transformation solution. Next, the program will continue to discuss with the business to agree on the solution and guide the business to implement the solution according to a detailed and effective implementation plan. Finally, the program will have post-consultation support activities such as training support for the business's staff to master the new system and be ready to apply the digital transformation solution.

MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation will allow businesses to use MobiFone's digital solutions for free within 06 months, including MobiFone Invoice e-Invoice solution; MobiFone eContract e-Contract; MobiFone Social Security Declaration (mBH); 1ERP enterprise website solution; or Meet online meeting solution. 1C Vietnam Company also will participate and provide a minimum support package of VND 50 million/1 enterprise for up to 50 enterprises, depending on the specific industry participating in the program. FPT Smart Cloud Company (under FPT Corporation) will also reduce 50% for enterprises when paying in advance for 24 months or more for FPT SMART CLOUD's digital services/solutions including Cloud backup/DR; Cloud Server; and Storage.
