The Philippine Department of Industry and Trade decided not to apply safeguard measures against low-density plastic particles (06/17/2022)
According to information received from the Vietnam Trade Office in the Philippines, the Philippine Department of Industry and Trade (DTI) has decided not to apply safeguard measures against low-density plastic (LLDPE) particles imported from a number of countries. including Vietnam.
This decision is based on the recommendation of the investigation report of the Philippine Customs Commission (TC). Accordingly, LLDPE plastic pellets imported into the Philippines did not have an increase in import volume (either in absolute or in relative terms) during the investigation period from 2015 to June 2021.
