The invitation to bid is open to all companies operating in the energy sector that can demonstrate their ability to perform the services in the bidding package with authenticated documents that have participated in similar projects, such as solar power plants with a total capacity of 40 MWc or more.
Bids must be sent to: Compagnie de l'engineering de l'électricité et du gaz (CEEG) Spa, Salle des conférences, Immeuble 700 Bureaux, RN 38-Gué de Constantine-Kouba-Alger, Algeria by no later than 10:00 (local time) Monday, May 29, 2023.
According to Sonelgaz, this is the first large-scale renewable energy project, helping Algeria to materialize its energy transition and enter a new era of sustainable energy, meeting the growing demand for consumption in country, realizing the ambition of exporting green energy in the long term, contributing to diversifying non-oil and gas exports.
This transformation will also allow Algeria to break away from dependence on traditional resources, protect fossil energy resources, change energy consumption and production patterns, ensure sustainable development and protect environmental protection.
