The Algerian Grain Inter-Industry Bureau (OAIC) ​​specifies that bidders will have to submit their applications by April 14, 2023, and suppliers who have worked with OAIC are not exempt from this procedure.
OAIC is the Algerian state agency that has the exclusive right to import grains and beans of all kinds since February 2023.
According to Trade Map data, in 2021, Algeria's grain import value will reach $3.5 billion, of which more than $2 billion is imported wheat, $62.9 million is rice (135,706 tons).
